PvE lingo
Hey, I've been out of the game for a while. I quit for about 3 years and I just started playing again about a month ago. I've picked some of the lingo up like "unded" meaning undedicated miniatures. I'm a pretty big noob nowadays, so don't hate haha.
I was wondering though, what do the other players mean in the temple of ages when they say...
"T1" Or sometimes "T2" "T3" Also, what is a conset?
I figured out that uwsc means underworld speed clear. Is there a big meta for UWSC? As in I have to have a certain build or no one will let me join their group?
Thanks to anyone who can help me out, I don't like being out of the loop and this game is so unforgiving to players who don't understand, or are misinformed. Elitism runs rampant.

These are all certain spots people look for in the meta uwsc. And yes, people will want those certain builds or you will have to look for a PuG (pick-up-group) that is just doing a regular clear of the underworld.
They builds are found here: http://www.gwpvx.com/Build:Team_-_UW_Terraway
Consets
This a set of consumables, hence, con-set. It basically means a Grail of Might, an Essence of Celerity, and and Armor of Salvation. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Conset
Just a quick note, people may want you to have pcons, or personal cons. These are things like candy corn, cupcakes, candy apples, etc.

http://www.guildwiki.org/Conset much info about consets here. Sometimes you can find an answer on http://www.guildwiki.org or the official wiki.
UWSC works with specific builds so yes you must have them.
I've been playing since Prophecies went live. The lingo and acronyms leave me baffled as well many times. Also if you google around there are lists like this one.

Elite Speak is for noobs, only they don't know they are noobs which is the funny part. Those of us who have been around for a while try to avoid sounding incomprehensible.
T# can refer to a number of things. Google it. And good luck.

Hey, thanks for all the help! I've had an account since prophecies went live as well. As I said, I quit playing for about 3 years. I don't remember other players being so rude in game! >:O
But thank you, this helps a LOT!

I feel ya bud, I picked it back up about 2 months ago after similar breaks. Luckily all the riches were still around as well as some new surprises. It seems like it's mostly a run for collecting points for the upcoming GW2 release so look into that and do the easy things first, of course. Welcome back.

Don't worry about elitism - there are still those of us who are always willing to help those who come back to the community! The wiki is your best bet for all things Guild Wars related. You can pretty much find anything you want to know there!

Indeed. If you are looking for the better side of the community, you generally don't want to be in Temple of the Ages, Zin Ku Corridor or Chantry of Secrets. That's pretty much the laystall of GW

People can be extremely rude and flippant when someone asks a legitimate question. I always try to answer people truthfully and respectfully, the way I would like to be treated if I asked a question.
Even after 4 years of fairly continual play, I'm baffled by some acronyms. I've had to stop asking for clarification in general chat and ask instead in alliance or guild chat.
If you ever have any questions about anything, pm me here on guru, and I would be happy to help.

Hey now... Underworld is my favorite vacation spot! Not everyone who goes in there is bad, I always look to help others for it
